Summary

Caption: This northerly view shows the former loco ash pit road and concrete water tower. The two loop tracks were to the right of the water tower. The concrete shed base to the left of the ash pit is the former WT stores. The loco siding extended south of the pit as far as the bush. The siding was often used in WHR days for stabling goods stock when not required for loco servicing. The 100 foot ash pit siding joined into the loop just south of the north end loop points.
