Railways Inspector for the Board of Trade. First of many visits was on 25th March 1872, when he inspected Minffordd Yard.
He visited again on 14th April 1874 to inspect Tan y Bwlch and Dduallt
He visited again in respect of the accidental death of George Westley on 4th March 1881
