I am not familiar with the details on the Topsy page on the matter of who owned or gave a home to the miniature train 'Topsy'.

It appears to have been made under the supervision of William Williams (2), my great uncle (he was the son of William Williams (1) and the brother of Margaret, who was my great grandmother).

My uncle, Edwin Owen Willliams (William Williams (2)s grandson) returned to Wales from India in the early 1950s. He gave our family a brass spirit level with "W. Williams" engraved on it. He told me about Topsy and how he had loaned it to the FR for display in their museum. As William Williams (2) was his grandfather, I assumed that the two items had come down to him from his father.
