Thomas Prichard II
The family name is sometimes wrongly spelt as Pritchard.
Thomas Lloyd Prichard (born c1844 in Maentwrog) was the second son of Thomas Prichard (James Spooner's assistant). He appears in the 1851 census living with his family at Cefn meusydd, Llanfrothen (we would call that area Penrhyndeudraeth now). By 1861 the family had moved to Fryddywernydd (also now Penrhyn) and he was described as a clerk (possibly working for the FR). In 1871 he was working as a Railway Traffic Manager in Portmadoc, once again probably FR. In 1881 he was a coal merchant and back living with the family at Brithwernydd, Penrhyn; this may well be the same house as the family occupied in 1861. He continued as a coal merchant for many years but in 1911 was described as a "Civil Agent". The family continued to live in the same house until after 1911.
