N = number not now carried, due to renumbering or disposal of the wagon

B = fitted with handbrake

V = fitted with vacuum brake (or through-piped) for use in passenger trains

Notes compiled, in the main, from several published Ffestiniog Railway sources.

FRM 50 has a stock list for Aug 1970, FRM 54 has an update to Aug 1971, FRM 93 has a full list for 1981. TGBC = Ffestiniog Railway Traveller's Guide with Blue Cover, Section 4 Wagons Pages 35 & 36 - Stock List as at 01-Apr-92.

Condition/location/existence of wagons may have changed since issue of this. Contributors to this Wiki should amend this list with later information or with later dated photographs.

261 4-wheel 2-Ton iron slate KCB 06-May-2007 Old Ffestiniog Railway No. 367 Four-wheel 2-ton iron slate wagon. Listed in 1910 as allocated to Votty & Bowydd Slate Co traffic. This wagon was one of the two that ran in the token late train on 19.5.1982 from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog; it is displayed on a typical wagon turntable and carries a full load of slate from Llechwedd Slate Quarry. Its original number 367 is painted on the 'old era' side, its more recent number 261 on the other side TGBC
