On arrival at Minffordd (Cambrian) passengers should make their way as quickly as possible to the Festiniog (High Level) station by means of the connecting subway.

Two special trains will run from Minffordd to Tan-y-bwlch in connection with the B. R. special, at 15.05 and 15.20, arriving at Tan-y-bwlch at 15.30 and 15.45 respectively (these are working times and may be adjusted according to the actual arrival time of the B. R. special).

The trains will be re-marshalled at Tan-y-bwlch, and three trains will be formed, which will run down as follows:-

Tan-y-bwlch dep. 16.10 16.25 17.10
Boston Lodge Halt arr .... 16.55 ....
Pen Cob arr. 16.40 .... ....
(for Boston Lodge)
dep. 17.10 17.25 ....
Portmadoc arr. 17.15 17.30 17.45

All first class accommodation on these trains is reserved for passengers holding first class tickets on the B. R. special. In addition, both buffet cars and observation cars are reserved for passengers holding special tickets for these vehicles.

As you will notice from the schedule, two of the down trains from Tan-y-bwlch will call at Boston Lodge Works (i.e. either at Boston Lodge Halt or Pen Cob) and the third will run non-stop to Portmadoc. Please select whichever train meets your requirements, irrespective of the train in which you travelled up the line. If you want to have a look round Boston Lodge Works, you must travel by either the first or second train down.

As there are approximately 450 passengers travelling on the special to-day, please assist in the smooth handling of the operation by making up your mind as far as possible which train you wish to travel in and by getting aboard with the minimum of delay, so that trains may be got away to time.

During the past winter, as throughout the whole of the last 11 years, a tremendous amount of unremitting hard work has gone into the restoration and maintenance of our railway, and our enjoyment of this afternoon is due in no small measure to the General Manager, his permanent staff, and the many volunteers who give their time to the railway.

We should like also to express our thanks to the Western and London Midland Regions of British Railways, whose staff have planned the operation of our special in their usual helpful and enthusiastic manner.
