Dear Member,

At the Annual General Meeting recently held at Portmadoc, the Society adopted the Resolution to increase Membership Subscriptions to THIRTY SHILLINGS for Full Membership and FIFTEEN SHILLINGS for both Junior and Associate Membership, the increased Subscriptions being payable from the commencement of the 1968-69 Financial Year on 1st October, 1968.

We must therefore draw your attention to the need for you to make an adjustment to your Standing Banker’s Order, thus covering these increased payments.

At the bottom of this letter will be found a suitable form to enable you to instruct your Bank clearly as to your revised requirements. You will note that we have already applied the required twopenny stamp, thus enabling you to complete the form and post it to your Bank without delay.

We realise that a few members may not wish to pay the increased Subscriptions, and whilst sincerely hoping for your continued support, we do ask that you complete the second section of this letter to indicate to the Assistant Membership Secretary your decision. We should much rather know now of the cancellation of your Order, or alternatively, of the resignation of a member of your family, than have to pester you with unnecessary enquiries next year.
