Summary[edit]

TO BANKER'S ORDER SUBSCRIBERS

The Assistant Membership Secretaries handling subscriptions paid by banker's order know from bitter experience that they face increased work with the change of subscription rates approved at the last Annual General Meeting. Many payments will come in at the old rates, necessitating letters to members asking for the shortfall. As well as adding to the workload of busy voluntary officers of the Society, the extra postage incurred and the delays in completing payments detract from the benefit that can be passed to the Railway.

If you have not already increased your payment, PLEASE complete the amendment form below and forward it immediately to your bank to ensure the correct sum is paid when due.

If you are altering your membership in any way, such as by changing to Senior Citizen membership or by amending the membership of members of your family, please send full details to the appropriate Secretary well in advance of the date of your payment.

Conversions to Life Membership at the present rates (£120 full, £90 associate) can be handled by any Assistant Membership Secretary if received before 30th September 1985.
