E. A. Griffiths

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

Evan Griffiths, Handyman. Could be Griffith, maybe Evan A. Born 1843 in Rhiw.

He lived in Bron Madoc (later the home of Tom Davies and even today occupied by an FR supporter), from at least 1881 but was not then working for the FR. Sometime before 1891 he became a Yardman, (probably FR), Labourer/handyman in 1901 and Storekeeper in 1911. It seems he just filled in for any unskilled job. He was married to Ellen but she died sometime between 1901 & 1911 and his daughter Mary was living with him.

Noted In October 1919 the wartime bonuses were paid and he received £3 12/4d (£3.62p)
