Phil Hawkins has been a director of the FRS since 2002, with a break from 2006 to 2008, and was Chairman from 2002 to 2006. He was also the Society's contact with the late Edward Paget-Tomlinson and it was through this contact that a number of commissioned water colours of FR scenes were produced by Edward, some of which were used on the series of Heritage Group Christmas Cards that were produced in the early noughties.
