Affectionally known as the "Gherkin", the Launceston Steam Railway's prototype diesel electric railcar bogie incorporates parts from former Post Office Railway motors and wheelsets.

It attended the Quirks & Curiosities even in May 2010, where Wagon 63 was borrowed to carry the rest of the kit to make it run. It made a useful contribution as transport for a number of people between Boston Lodge and Harbour Station.
