Andrew Thomas is either a current or recent Director, Staff member or Volunteer on the railways or associated support groups. This entry only appears as a matter of record.

Andrew Stephen Thomas became the company press officer in 2010, and was responsible for a substantial raising of its PR presence in print and broadcast media. He was also tasked with collecting information from around the railway and converting this into content for the website, Facebook pages, Inside Motion and press releases. Andrew is a journalist by profession, having worked on national newspapers including the Guardian and Independent and had also worked in Press offices and PR roles for a number of large multinationals including IBM and Intel.

Andrew's involvement with the railway began in 2006, working with the track gangs on the WHR. He also designed and edited the company's popular annual 'lifestyle' magazine, TLC. He was made redundant in 2017 as part of a restructuring of the marketing department, but still lives locally and maintains a keen interest in the 40 mile railway.
