I got the Ffestiniog 'bug' from my Dad. He went there, armed with a box camera and riding his 'James' motorcycle, in 1934, and he scrambled around, just as I did decades later, up the Oakley Quarries and around Blaenau Ffestiniog. He recorded both 'Prince' and 'Taliesin'. The pictures are (sorry!) very poor, but they form a useful record from 85 years ago. Hope you enjoy them ...
