Day Log/1879-06-17

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

On this day, Oakeley asked, in a letter, for a reduction in carriage rates from the company.

The company replied on the 15th September. The discussion went on further and was brought up at a meeting of directors in London on 17th February 1880. (was this a board meeting?)

Basically the request was denied, relating to the other quarry agreements in place.[1]
