Day Log/1882-05-03

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

On this day there was a meeting between Charles Easton Spooner, the FR Co. board, and George Lewis, the Traffic Manager for the Cambrian Railway.

A formal agreement on charging rates was agreed, and that these matched the LNWR rates. The FR Co. was to reduce it rate to Minffordd to 2 shillings as previously proposed. There was some other detail regarding Cambrian rates from Minffordd., including rebates, and a monthly sttlement.

Subject to confirmation by both boards, the agreement was to be backdated to 1st February 1882.
