On this day, Princess Beatrice and Prince Henry rode from Minffordd to Plas Tan y bwlch[1]. They were presented with an album of photographs, possibly by Bleasdale. Queen Victoria had been scheduled to ride, but had remained at a place called Pale, near to Bala.
