"Aug 19 (1901) Covered goods wagon attached behind passenger train & 4 or 5 behind it (waggon) left rails below Tanybwlch Stn. Accident caused by bushes of goods waggon having got rather loose allowing too much play in wheels, and waggon being loaded to top with flour bags. No damage to passenger train which was unhooked & proceeded not complete."

This is thought to be the accident captured on a lantern slide bought on e-bay by Adrian Gray and shown in HGJ 81 P20
