Coal strike affects Festiniog Railway operations. [1]

Firstly, there is a shortage of coal, and secondly, what coal there is, is of poor quality and causes poor steaming. One FR train comes to a standstill and passengers are asked to collect sticks from the adjacent woods to put in the engine's firebox.
