NOTICE - Finance Division

The Board have re-organised the Ffestiniog Railway Company’s Finance Division.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Malcolm High as Director of Finance. Malcolm will oversee our finance division and attend Board meetings and will continue as Finance Director WHLR Ltd. We welcome Malcolm and are confident that he will have general support in the work he would undertake to develop and operate Ffestiniog’s financial management systems.

A vacancy exists for a full time finance officer, reporting in all operational matters to the Director of Finance. A number of applications have been received, but the post is still open. Anyone wishing to be considered for the post should contact Pauline Holloway or Gina Warren at Harbour Station.

In addition to assist the Board in the development of the Railway BDO Stoy Hayward (Ffestiniog Railway Company Auditors) have agreed to allow Partner Nigel Burbidge to provide business and financial advice to the Company Board when required from time to time.

The Board expresses its sincere thanks to Mike Colville for the hard work and wisdom which he has given to the Railway over a number of years.
