Festipedia:Automatic edit summaries

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

An automatic edit summary (denoted by a leftward pointing arrow linking to this page at the start of the summary) is created under certain circumstances when the user has left the edit summary blank. Whilst this may indicate vandalism, it may also be entirely innocent.

The automatic summaries are:

What did the user do What text will appear
Redirected the page Redirected page to 'target'
Removed all content Blanked the page
Removed most content Replaced page with 'new text'
Created a new page Created page with 'new text'

If the change is determined to be vandalism, it can be reverted by going to the page history for the relevant page. The help page on page histories includes instructions for reverting edits.
