As a large number of people have already visited Boston Lodge, it has been decided that whilst one train will return there almost immediately from Tan-y-Bwlch so that those who wish may inspect the works, the other will remain at Tan-y-Bwlch until later to enable those who are interested to walk up the line. Both trains will arrive back at Portmadoc at about 5.30 p.m. You are asked to state on your application form which of the two trains you prefer to travel in on the return journey, as the make-up of the trains from Tan-y-Bwlch to Portmadoc will depend on the numbers requiring to travel in each party.

The Western Region special return will leave Portmadoc at 10.15 p.m., stopping at Minffordd at 10.20 p.m., and remaining there until 11 p.m.

Car parking facilities have been arranged at Paddington (on the departure side slope) and at Snow Hill, Birmingham (at tunnel sidings - up side, entrance in Snow Hill). Cars parked in these places must have a label prominently displayed in the rear window, bearing the letters, "F.R.S.L."

Kindly return the enclosed application form at your earliest convenience
