Editor note - I beleive the temporary track was in midst of the two alignments, starting just above where the RRM is situated.

Railway track through Goat Tunnel The track of the Welsh Highland Railway was re-laid through Goat Tunnel in April 2007. This picture was taken about a week later, as track-laying continued southwards towards Porthmadog.
