Griffith Morris

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

Griffith Morris was born in 1831 in Liverpool. The first reference to him working for the FR is in December 1850. At various times he was either described as an Iron Founder or a Moulder.

However, he was killed an accident at the age of only 40. He was walking on a gang plank to get to a ship in Portmadoc Harbour when he slipped and fell into the water between the ship and the quay. Although he was rescued very quickly he had banged his head and was found to be dead.
