Heritage Carriage Shed

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

The Heritage Carriage Shed in Glan y Mor yard at Boston Lodge is a modern three-road shed built in 2016 to accommodate historic rolling stock which is not in regular use. It is at the back of the yard, covering the site of two of the Gunpowder Sheds, in an area created by cutting back the rockface and levelling the floor beneath. The sidings are accessed via 10 road (the carriage shed run round). As well as being used to house heritage carriages it has also been used to store out of ticket locomotives (such as Mountaineer and Earl of Merioneth) and carriages that need short term storage before/after trips to the Carriage Works.
