Hilary Norton

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

Hilary was a director of the FR Society from 2000 to 2004. Formerly in the catering industry, she has earned an enviable reputation on the railway through her lemon meringue pies which regularly form part of the fare served on the special evening trains provided for participants in the annual Megabashes, Gigabashes and Kids Weeks. Her husband is Alan Norton.

Hilary also puts her professional skills and qualifications to work for the railway by running regular 'Food Hygiene' training courses so that volunteers and paid staff can gain the knowledge and qualifications that are a legal requirment for working in the Catering dept.
