Howell Lloyd

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

Born 1787 in Barmouth. Married to Alice Lloyd. He seems to have been a seaman who retired from that job around 1850. In December 1851 lived at back of London Road (Tremadoc?) as a mariner. He also appears on FR payroll as a carpenter at the same time and later as a waller. It looks as though he had two part time jobs with the FR for some time. Sometimes he describes himself as a mason and eventually as a yardman. There is no further reference to him after 1863. In the 1861 census he is living at Railway Lodge, Minffordd (i.e. Lottie's Cottage or its predecessor).
