A person with this name was a Porter at Duffws in 1901, a signalman at Duffws in 1911, a platelayer in 1914/15/17 and a porter/signalman at Duffws 1919/20. We can only assume this is all the same person.

Born July 1887. Lived at Tanycloggo Terrace near Blaenau Festiniog. Joined the FR about 6th October 1914 as platelayer in top gang. Left FR on 9th January 1915 for Royal Army Medical Corps (No. 48667). Returned to FR on 15th January 1917 as platelayer but resigned on doctor's advice on 7th September 1917. Later a porter at Duffws 5th May 1919 to 19th May 1923.[1]
