The CheckUser tool queries the server log of recent changes, and returns the IPs used by a user or the users/edits from an IP or IP range.
  • CIDR formatted IP ranges are supported for both IPv4 (/$1 to /32) and IPv6 (/$2 to /128).
  • Client IP information can be retrieved, if the proxy provides XFF data, by appending "/xff" to the IP or range.
  • To protect site integrity and performance, the maximum results that can be shown per page is $3. More results can be generated using the paging links.
Use of the CheckUser tool must only be made for good reason and for good cause such as when checking for abuse.
