Richard Seymour Guinness was appointed a Director of the NWNGR to represent the 'B' Debenture Stockholders from 1880/81 until his resignation in 1888 . He was replaced in this role by James C. Russell on 23 September 1888 until his death in 1912.
He was part of the Guinness Mahon Banking family.
