Talyllyn Railway Matisa Tamper

This machine is owned by the Talyllyn Railway and was temporarily regauged for use by the WHR (P) on its Traeth Mawr extension construction project in 2006. Designed by Matisa Industrielle SA of Lausanne, Switzerland, it is an early machine of Type BL-09M, probably dating from the 1960s. It was built either in Switzerland or in Matisa's Chertsey factory in Surrey which operated until 1963.
