Template:Festipedia category/doc

Usage

This template should be placed at the top of categories used in the administration of Festipedia rather than as part of the encyclopedia.

Parameters

The following descriptions assume the template is transcluded on a page in the Category namespace.

|hidden=true/yes/on	Causes the template to hide the page (the category), add it to Category:Hidden categories and to include a {{Hidden category}}-style message.
|tracking=true/yes/on	Causes the template to add the page (the category) to Category:Tracking categories and include a {{Tracking category}}-style message.1 To add a short description of the tracking category after the message, use |description=[short description].
|container=true/yes/on	Causes the template to add the page (the category) to Category:Container categories and include a {{Container category}}-style message.2
{{{1}}}  (first unnamed parameter)	Anything supplied as the template's first unnamed parameter will be placed immediately below it under the heading "Description".

• ¹ Category:Contents' categorisation and Category:Tracking categories self-categorisation is prevented by setting |tracking_category=false/no/off.
• ² Category:Container categories's self-categorisation is prevented by setting |container_category=false/no/off.

Result

This is an administration category. It is used for administration of the Festipedia project and is not part of the encyclopedia. It contains pages that are not articles, or it groups articles by status rather than content. Do not include this category in content categories.

This is a hidden category. It is not shown on its member pages, unless the corresponding user preference 'Show hidden categories' is set.

This is a tracking category. It builds and maintains a list of pages primarily for the sake of the list itself. Pages are added to tracking categories through templates.

This category tracks pages tagged with {{Hidden category}}.
