From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

On this day, it is recorded that:-

A meeting took place between the committee of representatives of the investing authrities, and Richard Griffith, Receiver and Manager of the Railway.

Griffith requested permission to reduce services to one goods train per week. The timing and points to be served was left open, but the committee agreed.[1]
