Festiniog Railway Company Police

The Festiniog Railway Company officially employed just one Police Officer. Board of Trade Returns for 1884 show a Police Inspector was based at the Company's Head Office

Humphrey Jones was employed as a railway policeman from 1854-1863.

George Doyle was employed as a railway policeman from 1854 until late 1861.

Thomas Henry Hovendon was employed from 1861 until his death in 1903. However, he was only described as a policeman from 1861 until 1877.
