Summary

Caption:
Date: Sunday 2nd August 1964
Location: Boston Lodge
Photographer: Geoff Plumb

... Ex-Penrhyn Railway 0-4-0STT "Linda" has now been painted in FR green livery and a permanent tender has been rebuilt from "Welsh Pony's" old tender. The cab has also been reprofiled in order to fit through Garnedd tunnel. The engine is on the disposal road at Boston Lodge shed and fireman Dave "Rolo" Mackintosh is in the midst of his duties on the right of the picture. On the left by wagon No. 30 is off-duty Bill Hoole, together with (I think) some of his family members
