Image title	Ffestiniog Railway Double Fairlie 0-4-4-0T No. 10 "Merddin Emrys" is running round its train at Porthmadog Harbour station after coaling and watering at the stage just out of the picture to the left, and making use of the unusual 3-way stub-point just behind the engine. The fireman is Dave "Rolo" Mackintosh and the driver (just visible) is Bill Hoole, formerly of King's Cross "Top Shed", whose regular engine at that depot was A4 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley". Bill retired to Porthmadog and drove on the FR for many years. The young mother with her toddler in the push-chair gives a nice period feel to the picture! Thursday 29th August 1963.
