A view from the main road across the field to the yard entry road, taken in 1905. The FR main line is hidden below the wall in the middle distance. The small hut provided for the pointsman manning the weighted point who directed weighed waggons into the yard or into the Long Siding if they were to be taken to the wharves at the harbour is visible beyond the wall, right of centre. A line of slate waggons can be seen on the edge of the Votty wharf with a few stacked slates at the extreme left. The Goods shed is prominent, right of centre.
