The Ffestiniog Railway Medical Service or Gwasanaeth Meddygol Rheilffordd Ffestiniog provides services to the Festiniog Railway Company.

The two main areas of activities include:-

  • Drivers' medicals
  • Provision of First Aid Courses with advice on First Aid provision.

In 2007, Medical Service was a junta of Drs Ted Clulow († 2010), Pedr/Peter Jarvis, and Trefor Owen, (all retired), Hugh Matthews, Jennifer Quayle (née Waters) and Brian Holmes, as practising GP's. By 2015 the junta consisted of Drs Hugh Matthews, Paul Holmes, Bill Hamlin and Nigel Kendall.

On the First Aid side they are assisted by First Aid Trainer/Assessors Tony Peake, Sarah van Lottum and Judith Ward.
