Henry Martyn Felkin born Nottingham 1837, died Brentford 1907. A hosiery manufacturer, son of William Felkin - one time Mayor of Nottingham who published a landmark book about the Hosiery trade. Henry's second marriage, in 1887, was to Amelia Jane Elliott, daughter of FR Director John W Elliott
A company director from 1899, in August 1904 he tendered his resignation due to not feeling able to fulfill the role due to deafness. According to the 1891 census, he had been slightly deaf since childhood.
He was replaced by his brother-in-law John W. Elliott Jr.
