Thought to be H.T. Cooke c.1891

Henry Thomas Cooke was born in Liverpool in 1846. In the 1881 census it would appear that he called himself "Henry Thomas". If this is the same person then the 1871 census shows him to be a Railway Goods Clerk living at Afronroe, Blaenau Ffestiniog. In 1874 he was Station Master at Dinas moving to a similar post at Duffws in 1878 (living in the Station House), a post which he continued to hold until he was apparently dismissed 1892 for not carrying out his duty in a satisfactory manner. The comes for FR Co. Board minutes of August 1892. He is not named in the minutes.

He may also have been responsible for inspecting wagons at some period.
