Director of the Ffestiniog Railway Society from 2003. Elected Chairman 6 January 2008. Resigned 22 June 2021. Howard is the son-in-law of Norman Pearce. He was an active chairman getting involved with many volunteering jobs and a keen promoter of FR volunteering.
