Tafarn Trip

Lying a little below Garnedd Tunnel, and located on a shelf overlooking Llyn Mair, this location had a small stable that serviced the Horse changing stations on either side of it, i.e. those at Hafod y Llyn (FR) and Tunnel South Halt.

The embankment at Tafarn Trip, like so many others on the FR, is a drystone wall similar to Cei Mawr but somewhat smaller. However it is still a substantial construction.
