This was not an Act. At the stage when the FR was being discussed, it was before Parliament. Once it has been passed and had the royal approval, it became an Act. But by then the FR was out of it. Suggest amendment to title

The Railways Act 1921 was a pivotal point in British Railways, and the FR was a possible constituent. As such the short entry, including a ref to the reason it was dropped, is, I think, relevant to the FR History. The naming convention of "Act of Parliament YYYY" is purely to keep in line with the other acts listed. --Keith (talk) 17:45, 13 June 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
