Does anyone know the origin of the nickname 'Stesion Fein' and why it is apparently wrong, and why we don't use the 'correct' form?

I agree! This page should be titled Stesion Fain and spell it in the correct Welsh

Perhaps the page should be called Blaenau Festiniog (LNWR) or Blaenau Festiniog Junction on the basis that these appear to have been official names. In general encyclopedia articles should probably be titled with official names, not nicknames. I think the articles about the Blaenau stations could do with a tidy up of names in general. LNWR Junction and GWR Exchange as titles don't seem to reflect any kind of official naming at all whilst the various articles about the the different Dinas stations (Ffestiniog/Welsh Highland) are also somewhat confusingly named. If you like, I can go through the text and change fein to fain, if you want to rename the whole page?
