Brake Van 4 is a bit of a mystery but I am talking about the van in ibase 3128. At max magnification the lettering on the door is still hard to read but I think it is WHR in white paint just as in the other pictures cited. The 3rd character might just be a wobbly 2 but I think it is a wobbly R with the vertical disappearing, maybe into the groove of the matchboarding. I don't know where Boyd got the number 4 from, it doesn't appear on the van! That's why I put the subtitle in inverted commas. WHR and FR numbering 'policy' was erratic to say the least!
