Van 2 is a brake van on the Welsh highland Railway. It is a replica of a NWNGR Ashbury brake van.

Van 2's first journey was on 18 June 2026, a private trip for railway supporters, including those who funded the vehicle. It was incomplete on this trip as it lacked the brake equipment allowing it to be used as a guard's van. The paintwork was also unfinished.

It is expected that Van 2 will see regular use on the vintage sets used for Yr Aberglaslyn services.
