Mer., can, in case the Ffestiniog Railway Company should build walls through his property as required by a clause in the Act for making and maintaining a tram road from a certain quarry [quay] at Portmadoc, co. Caern., to certain slate quarries called Rhiwbryfder and Dyffws, p. Ffestiniog, co. Mer., compel them to pay the penalty of £500 mentioned in the Act and also, if they built the walls and paid the penalty of £500 can he afterwards compel them to rebuild the walls through his property of the length and manner required by a special clause in the act, and which it seems the Company are desirous of avoiding if the law will bear them out in it.
