Day Log/1875-06-04

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

On this day, in consequence of a porter failing to open the points at Tanygrisiau station correctly caused the front wheels of the engine, James Spooner to take a different road than the rear set when crossing. Fortunately, the engine was travelling at a very slow speed and it came to a stand after running a few yards. No one was injured and very little damage was done. [1]
