Day Log/1886-10-27

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

On this day, the board met and Spooner was 'instructed to express the regret of the board that Roche, and Mr. Prichard would not make the reductions in their charges of 1d per ton in each case proposed by the FR Co. board as a condition of making the reduction on their part...'

The board decided to act and introduced the charges, and expressed its disatisfaction with a record in the minute book, concluding ".... this board consider there is a strong claim on Mr Roche as the person representing these charges to make a substantial reduction in them"[1]
