Portmadoc New (1933)
There seems to be some discrepancy amongst some authors as to the date of the second "New" station, north of the Cambrian crossing - although its opening would only make sense in 1929 when the WHR reduced (or ceased) use of the Cambrian crossing to save the costs of the GWR's crossing box. This page exists just to direct you to the officially recorded station of 1929.
Both Boyd and Johnson refer to the earlier date of 1929, rather than 1933. Therefore see Portmadoc New (1929)
