This looks like a very valuable resource. A query though about referencing style - the present one is a little bit of a mish-mash but is generally clear enough, I just have a bit of an irritation about the detail convention for citing page numbers. Humanities conventions are probably the most applicable ones for us to follow, and "p123-34" wouldn't normally be acceptable. The Modern Humanities Research Association style for a book reference is "p. 123" (reference on a single page) or "pp. 123-34" (reference spanning those pages). Can the syntax accommodate this, or does it force an entry into the format currently specified? Journal references follow slightly different conventions (add volume references, but no "p." or "pp.") but this is not a major issue. Ben Fisher (talk) 01:26, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
No problem - there are only a minimal no. of "wrong" format entries, - rewritten instruct to satisfy convention. I am not sure if there is a better way, it is based on my initial reading of the Wikipedia version convention --Keith (talk) 2009-1-2T07:42:17 (UTC)
